What we do

All PYMC activities are directed at the youths, high school students and all teenagers between ages 11 - 19 throughout the country. Using a unique catch-them-young approach, the task is to reach and inform the target market through the use of the media, our formidable youth networking system and other activities to build a strong customer base.

MEDIA & publishing

Being a Company of the youths by the youths and for the youths, the company is involved in the production of TV/Radio programs aimed at showcasing the exploits of the Nigerian youths. This is going in line with the company’s motto - discovering, nurturing, showcasing.

The company has two publications ''Prime Youth Digest'' and ''Prime Youth Magazine''. The aim of PYMC is to help bring back the lost reading culture in the new generation of Nigerian students.

PRIME YOUTH DIGEST (PYD)

PYD is a bulletin format monthly publication. The maiden edition of the PYD which was published last year and was distributed freely to students of both private and public secondary schools around Lagos state.

PRIME YOUTH MAGAZINE

The quarterly magazine features exciting articles written by teens and also featuring youths who are trailblazers in different sectors. The maiden edition of the magazine themed: 'The pursuit of freedom' was published in March 2011 and it enjoyed rave reviews; it widely accepted as it was sold out in its first month of release. The magazine is ‘edu-taining’ and it is fast becoming the official magazine of the students of secondary schools in both Lagos and Ogun States.

NETWORKING

PYMC is involved in youth networking also through its ‘Youth Konnect’ initiative. PYM employs various methods to help bridge the gap between the Nigerian youths to encourage dissemination and sharing of valuable and important information. This is aimed at building an educational village for the teens.

SEMINARS

Seminars and vocational workshop trainings are important tools of education as they give opportunity to learn outside the four walls of the classroom and this gives the students the chance to learn skills first-hand from professionals and field veterans who serve as role models to the students.

PYMC believes in rewarding excellence, thus it is involved in the organization of Teen Awards for students and teenagers who have distinguished themselves over a period of time.

PYMC also organizes competitions for the teens and high school kids to foster healthy competition and winning mentality among the teens.
